Related to the issue of access to gynecologist of Romani women from Topaana, Shuto Orizari and the neighboring municipalities in Skopje a one-day workshop on reproductive rights was implemented for 23 Romani women from the communities where the majority Roma are living – Topaana and Shuto Orizari.
The workshop was held as well for the purpose of providing them with important information in relation to their reproductive rights, motivate them for taking legal action in situations when their reproductive rights have been breached by medical professionals and other authorities and secure potential litigants among them, for the purpose of initiating a joint litigation before Macedonian civil courts and/or other extra judicial bodies on the issue of access to gynecologists for Romani women from Skopje.
